01 Jul Welsh Bodyboard Club affiliates with the Welsh Surfing Federation
We are extremely pleased to announce that we have now affiliated with our National Governing Body (NGB) the Welsh Surfing Federation. This is something we have been hoping to do for quite some time but the club which now has well over 100 members believes that this is the right time to take this step. The affiliation will deliver a pathway for our members to ISA and ESF events as well accredit our future events including a Welsh Nationals. Welsh Bodyboard Club members will also benefit from being able to partake in both judging and coaching courses that will earn the needed internationally recognised qualifications.
Members are also covered for worldwide Third Party Insurance for surfing up to £5million along with many other benefits. We see it as great step forward for the club and bodyboarding in the UK and we look forward to working alongside the WSF, the National Governing Body for Wales.
